I am in love with Marina Abramović. I admire her as an outstanding artist and as a remarkable woman as well. She is not only stunning, but extremely thought-provoking and inspiring.

Throughout her career, Abramovic has used her body as her primary material, pushing it to extremes of altered consciousness,the body has always been both her subject and medium. Exploring the physical and mental limits of her being, she has withstood pain, exhaustion, and danger in the quest for emotional and spiritual transformation.
Abramović has presented her work with performances, sound, photography, video and sculpture.
The following video was a piece of the "Balkan Baroque" installation. In this video she tries to shed some light on the life in Balkan, through narrating her own memories and imaginary autobiography.

kár, hogy nem lehet sehol a neten megtalálni a teljes Balkan Baroque felvételt. az alapján amit olvastam róla, forgatókönyv stb., megér egy pár misét.
...valóban, egy egész regényt lehetne a művésznőről meg a munkásságáról irni, én dióhéjban irtam le egy kis darabkáját annak, ami annyira lenyúgözött.
