This insane and undeniably wonderful addiction began and reached it's unimaginable apex in '06 december, when a brilliant mind beyond all praise led me into the world of the ravishing, glacially slow funeral jazz: Bohren & der Club of Gore. They produced a crossover of jazz, hardcore, and ambient, an "unholy ambient mixture of slow jazz ballads, Black Sabbath doom and down tuned Autopsy sounds" as they self described.
I was mesmerized by the sophisticated soundplay between sax, keyboards, bass and percussion, the beautiful lament of the saxophone and the narcotic drums evoke a mellow atmosphere, an introspection to the fund of tranquility evaporates tones of jazz in a contemplative nucleus. The instruments seamlessly blend and flow apart to create an amazingly three-dimensional sound.

The new album, titled "Dolores" is released worldwide in 10.Oct. I'm still hypnotized by the album, mysteriously dark and flawless. Another brilliant masterpiece.
My perpetual adoration for the Bohren & der Club of Gore will never fade, they conquered my mind and heart.
